Math Tutor Sherri Horn

I offer private math tutoring through my company QED Tutoring, LLC. I am available to tutor students in 6th grade math through calculus. For the last 10 years, I have specialized in preparing students for the mathematics section of the SAT. Several of my tutorees have successfully raised the math portion of their scores by over 100 points. A few have even achieved a perfect 800. I’m New Jersey state certified to teach mathematics in grades 1 through 12. My teaching experience includes 20 years as a high school math teacher of general through honors math courses. I’m currently working as a math teacher at a public high school in Union County, New Jersey. I worked as a tutor at The Enrichment Center in Westfield, NJ until its close in 2009.

I earned my B.S. in Mathematics from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. I also hold a Masters degree in Mathematics Education.
